Our Story
Thicklaces.com started from fashion-centric gals who are always seeking out the latest trends. Like most girls, it takes time to coordinate the outfit to wear before walking out the door, carefully choosing the right color combination. When it got down to choosing the shoes, we noticed that the only way to coordinate the outfit with our shoes was to pick a shoe with the desired color. That was okay but that would mean we would have to buy the same shoes in many different colors but there are those times when we wanted to wear our favorite shoes even if it meant clashing with our outfit. That is when we hit the malls in search of better looking shoelaces only to find a very small selection. Through the help of friends and family, we were able to make colorful thick laces that solved our dilemma. The instant reaction we received from friends was overwhelming.
